Anzai Rara, originally known as Shion Utsunomiya and RION, made her debut in the adult video (AV) industry on September 7, 2013, with “Newcomer NO.1 STYLE Utsunomiya AV AV Studio” at S1. She quickly gained popularity, becoming the champion in sales rankings on the Japanese entertainment website “DMM” later that year.

In April 2014, she posed nude under the name “Anzhai Lala” for Japan’s “Weekly Playboy.” She took a break from AV in September 2014 but returned in September 2015 under the name “RION” with S1, winning the AV Actress Ranking Championship for the second half of 2015 on “DMM.” During this time, she moved from 8 Man to T-POWERS.
