The “Main Yahan Tu Wahan” web series tells the story of Mahima, a girl facing challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. After her father’s death, she lives with her worried mother, who is concerned about her marriage.
Mahima’s mother meets a man willing to help arrange Mahima’s marriage, and they proceed to get her married. However, a new twist unfolds as Mahima’s friend reveals that the man had previously sold his wife.
Mahima employs her friend to help her with work. Unfortunately, a lockdown prevents Mahima from visiting her in-laws. In her absence, her husband and her friend, who works at their house, grow closer.
The story takes a new turn when Mahima’s mother discusses arranging the marriage of the neighbor’s daughter, Renu, with the same man who arranged Mahima’s marriage.
